would be a 5 .. the food is great., restaurant is well decorated but they rush you while the place was empty .. this is not the first time we've experienced this.

Delicious dinner - country style noodles with tofu and red curry w tofu. Food was delicious served quickly, and it was hot. My 6th time here.
Ordered to go, but inside was well decorated and has a nice ambiance. Looked like a great spot for a date night so I would recommend dining in if you can. The food was good, overall tasty. I liked the curry more than the noodles actually, in which we tried pad Thai and pad see ew. Their Thai iced tea is very good too as I got to try that. Parking is available with a small lot on the side but the main street can get busy.

I may be a sucker for Thai food but this is up there with some of the best Thai food I have ever had. The inside was super clean and modern with plenty of seating. The service was prompt and all food came out piping hot. The mummy shrimp was out of this world. The outer layer almost tasted like a frosted mini wheat deep fried around a shrimp, insanely good! The shrimp pad Thai had a classic taste and was nothing too special but great nonetheless. The pineapple fried rice with chicken was so fresh and had cashew nuts that added that extra crunch and dimension to a super flavorful dish. I had lychee lemonade for the first time ever and it was amazing! It almost has a white peach type of flavor but it's not too sweet and super refreshing. Definitely recommend stopping by 8 Thai for a date night or even a work party!
Their dishes do the job but can be inconsistent . Staff is always friendly and food always comes fast and hot. Interior is cheeky and a nice break from the usual aesthetic in downtown cranford. Not my style but at least they're trying!!! Very reliable takeout -- so bumped up to 4 stars from 3.
The hype is real! Amazing food (Pad Kee Mow/drunken noodles, and Pad See Ew). We eat Thai around NJ often and there isn't a place that beats 8Thai (a few are on par, MANY fall short). Cute interior (though we ate outside). Friendly service. What more could you ask for?! 100% recommend!
we only get take out from here and so far this is the place to go for spicy Thai food. Uber eats , grub hub prices are more than their website. free parking next to the building but it's usually full. plenty of street and muni parking
